Lohan May Dodge the World's Biggest Bullet

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ there is a "strong possibility" the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office will NOT file felony charges against Lindsay Lohan in connection with her two DUI arrests.

We're told charges may be filed tomorrow, and the D.A. is leaning toward rejecting three possible felonies. Sources say the D.A. almost certainly will not file cocaine charges in connection with her DUI bust Memorial Day weekend in Beverly Hills.

As for her July 24 arrest in Santa Monica, the D.A. could charge her with felony cocaine possession, and bringing cocaine into a correctional facility -- also a felony. But we're told that the D.A. is inclined not to file those felony charges either.

That basically leaves misdemeanor DUI charges for both incidents. If Lohan is found guilty of both, she'd have to serve a minimum of four days in jail, and that beats prison, baby!

And we're told Lohan's mega-lawyer Blair Berk and prosecutors have been talking a lot and that spells a possible plea bargain.

Here's what's for sure: If Lohan is not charged with a felony, she is not required to attend Friday's arraignment. If that's the case, put money on it -- Lindsay will be a no show.

61. I guess you can buy the law if you have enough money or enough "celebrity". If I had done what she did I would be looking at jail time. And I am a grandmother.

I'm so disgusted with "Hollywood Law" that it literally makes me sick.

62. And this just goes to prove that what she said is true, that because she is a "celebrity" (and I use that term very loosely) she is above the law. I hope this turns in to a public outcry that will make the Paris fiasco seem like child's play. This WOMAN - lets not forget the fact that she is a grown adult now, drives drunk and high, crashes her car and runs from the scene - while being photographed, carries cocaine into a JAIL, takes hostages on a dangerous joy ride while terrorizing a woman and passenger who don't know if they are about to be killed, flaunts her lies of sobriety in the face of the public through her usage of the media, and disrespects the highly gifted professional actors that she has had the PRIVILEGE to work with, and what do we do? We eat it up. I can't do it anymore. I'll never buy a ticket to see this trainwreck perform, and I'll not buy another magazine that features her in it.

Do you really think her people are focused on her sobriety? I can guarantee you they are focused on (1) getting her out of as much trouble as they can, no matter the cost and/or lies (2) getting her "image" repaired (3) her next project ($$$) (4) public appearances to show how she has "changed". Hell, it has already started. How long till her 30 days at her latest and greatest rehab are up? I'm betting not too long.....and how long till she is back in the clubs or partying at people's homes? Again, it won't take long, you can count on that. She is addicted to more than drugs and alcohol.

And while her parents may be responsible for her upbringing and the values that they instilled in her through their behavior and actions while she was growing up, the fact of the matter is that most of us have all had issues growing up. Does that give us the right to do whatever the hell we want, no matter what the consequences to ourselves or others? I'm sick of her parents being blamed for her actions. They have their own issues - that is obvious, but she is an adult and is making her own choices. She is going to kill someone if she is not given some serious consequences to her actions, and going to celebrity rehabs where you can get spa treatments, workouts and therapy just won't do it.

I say this not to molly coddle celebrities like our judicial system does; rather for my own selfish interests: I love a train wreck !! And Lindsay is one large train ready to go off a collapsed bridge. You're right Lindsay, you're a celebrity, you can do whatever...and please do, but remember, the next time you head out in your Mercedes, drunk out of your mind, please take your Mom with you before you wrap yourself around a tree. Oh, take Britney with you too...

That’s hysterical! Are you Dina Lohan or just another bleeding heart anything goes Liberal who doesn’t want Lindsay to do time because it might affect her self-esteem? Oh no!!!…If Lindsay has to do some serious time then she might not be able to work on her new album or movie project. Please! I don’t think water rafting and hiking is going to cut it with the public. I guess she was right. She’s a celebrity and she can do whatever she wants!

67. It always amazes me how the dollar has bought and paid for every judge and jury and law enforecment officer. Money kept Al Capone out of the slammer for years and that was 50 years ago. It has just gotten worse...so bad in fact that they even advertise it like this Lohan thing and get completely away with it. It's a national disgrace that will only get worse.
